KEITH JACKSON
Senior Consultant
Keith Jackson is a senior consultant at Singer Associates. He specializes in developing community and grassroots campaigns for corporations working towards strategic business objectives. Mr. Jackson specializes in facilitating complex public affairs and communications issues that relate to community, business and government.
Mr. Jackson is a former member and president of the San Francisco Board of Education from 1994-1998. His accomplishments on the Board include initiating a $100 million bond for school technology that was approved by the voters of San Francisco and co-creating policy that resulted in class size reduction.
Mr. Jackson was instrumental in encouraging parents of minority students to participate in public education policy-making activities. He spearheaded the naming of a public school in honor of Rosa Parks and was proud to have Mrs. Parks attend the renaming ceremony.
Mr. Jackson next served with the City and County of San Francisco’s Solid Waste Management Program where he was responsible for fulfilling the State’s policy of reducing waste and protecting the environment.
He later served as executive director for the San Francisco Black Chamber of Commerce and the Hunters Point Boys and Girls Club.
Mr. Jackson is a graduate of Galileo High School in San Francisco. He has attended College of Marin, Sonoma State University and is currently enrolled at New College of San Francisco majoring in Political Science.
