Mike Taylor brings an extensive political communications background to Singer Associates, with expertise in Bay Area and California campaigns and government.
Most recently, Mr. Taylor worked in Sacramento as Chief Caucus Writer for State Assembly Republican Leader Mike Villines. While there, he managed the writing staff to create six million direct mail pieces each year on a wide scope of legislative issues for the twenty-nine GOP Assemblymembers.
Prior to working in the State Capitol, Mr. Taylor was Executive Director of the Alameda County Republican Party, running youth and minority outreach and get-out-the-vote efforts for Governor Schwarzenegger's 2006 winning re-election campaign.
Before that, Mr. Taylor worked for Steve Poizner on his race for State Assembly in 2004, and later his successful primary campaign for California Insurance Commissioner.
Mr. Taylor has also worked for California State Assemblywoman Rebecca Cohn, United States Senator Dianne Feinstein, the Bay Area Republican Party, and San Ramon Mayor Abram Wilson on his bid for State Assembly in 2008.
Mr. Taylor now serves as an Account Executive for Singer Associates where he works on behalf of Chevron, among other clients.
A native of the Bay Area, Mr. Taylor graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish Language and Literatures.
