The original home of the San Francisco Chronicle and the future home of The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, San Francisco was the first skyscraper in the West to survive the 1906 earthquake and fire. Currently undergoing a $90 million renovation project to create 49 Club Residences and 52 Private Ownership Residences, The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences tapped Singer Associates to coordinate media and event logistics surrounding the Earthquake Centennial commemoration in front of Lotta’s Fountain in San Francisco.
Bay Meadows Land Company
Singer Associates is deeply familiar with the issues effecting development projects and worked as part of the team that defeated the referendum against Bay Meadows Land Company’s planned 83-acre, transit-oriented reuse of the Bay Meadows Racetrack in San Mateo. The agency has worked on behalf of the project since 2004.
Sale of Hollywood Park Racetrack
Singer was tasked by the Bay Meadows Land Company, a subsidiary of Stockbridge Capital Partners, to manage the media relations surrounding the company’s purchase of the legendary Hollywood Park Racetrack from Churchill Downs. Singer crafted key messaging surrounding the history of the racetrack and focusing on the company’s commitment to help promote the horse racing industry and distributed the announcement nationally.
Sunset Scavenger Company Art & Wine Event
Singer Associates developed and launched Sunset Scavenger’s first ever environmental Art and Wine Tasting event featuring wines produced from vineyards cultivated with compost from San Francisco’s Food Scrap Compost Program and showcasing artwork made from discarded refuse found at the San Francisco Dump as part of the company’s Artist in Residence Program.
World Environment Day Carbon Down, Profits Up Business Leaders Panel
Singer coordinated communications for The Climate Group’s World Environment Day activities in San Francisco including the Carbon Down, Profits Up Business Leaders Panel with international CEOs and the Governor’s Office and the dramatic photographic exhibition NorthSouthEastWest: A 360 degree View of Climate Change displayed at the San Francisco Civic Center.
